I'm trying to create an outfit that has a full formal tuxedo jacket...where it's cropped in the front above the waist, and has long tails in the back. I would love to make the tails flexi instead of "painting" them on a system skirt or jacket, however, tuxedo tails have a sort of curve at the outer bottom part, they don't end at a sharp angle the way flexi skirts or anything made of flexi prims do. Any tips? Is this possible, or do i have to settle for painted on tails or non flexi prim tails. I swear i've seen flexi tails somewhere around SL. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Paint the tails onto an otherwise transparent background, an then apply that texture to a flexible prim. That will be far easier of a texturing job than painting them onto a skirt. The skirt mesh is a real PITA. Just painting a black tux tail onto a flat plane, though, is like a 2-second job.
