Hi there,
I'd like to know if anyone can direct me to someplace in SL or on the website here on the basics to print out about building? Something I'm interested/facinated in with others in world that are able to do this. I'm talking the VERY simple/basic things one needs to know ie... linking, unlinking for instance or the best way to make sure prims are lined up before linking..... just EVERYTHING. I have a "special" project I would like to do once I get the basics down. I'm usually logged on in world.... not necessarily at the desk, but when I am I do reply if anyone can help an interested person on this. if anyone can help I'd appriciate it. thanks

C-c-c-check out a place inworld called THE IVORY TOWER OF PRIMITIVES @ Noyo (209, 187)

Great build tutorial. Can take awhile but teaches a lot. These very SL Forums have many tips too, you'll learn more and more by the day!

The mentor group gets requests from liaison's to help user's learn to build, I think they get answered.

You could IM me if I am online, I frequently would give people lessons, if only they would ask.

You could join several groups that are useful for asking questions at, namely the New Citizen Inc. group - this group fields all sorts of questions, and the members may be willing to give you personal instruction, and the Builders of Second Life group.

There is a video at the Welcome Area for new builders in the "Need Help?" building, at Bonifacio (233, 222).

I am giving you several notecards on building.

Anyone know of other groups that are good for asking building questions or asking for building lessons in?

tateru nino hosts a prim manipulation class on most tuesdays at 4pm. it's at new citizens inc headquarters in kuula (70,172).
