Take a sphere, 95% hollowed out, with a 20% dimple. Easy, right? Need another dimple? Sure, as long as it's on the same axis.
BUT, and here's my question...anybody know of a way to dimple a sphere on more than one axis? For example, take said single dimpled sphere from above, and I'd like to add a second dimple, but on a 90-degree angle, perpendicular from that axis.
Bueller?

To my understanding you'd have to have four spheres, cutting them and slotting them together.

Right...and I tried that. But when I cut the spheres, they cut on the same axis as the dimple, meaning you can't get a dimple without a cut and vice versa.
Unless I'm missing some mystical command or drop down that allows sphere cutting on a Y or Z axis o_O

i did this with my escapepod, it has a large window in the front a hatch in the back and side port windows. you dimple your opening then dimple the other side past 70-80% copy and rotate 4 times. i think i had to make a top and bottom piece also cant remember to fill in the gaps. -LW
