I'm not sure how to type this out. I'm building a personal dropship. The front of it is curved - and is pretty wide. I got the look-out center and the angled-front done, then realized that the sides where still 'flat' or rather..not there. I know that I COULD use flat 'boxes' but the points would show, which I don't want. I also know that I'll have to redo the front in order to get the sides, PLUS the angled curve I need. Question is: How the world to I reach both points? I some how need to build the front with the angled curve with the walls for the side! Here are some pictures. First is my idea. Second and third is what I got, minus the much needed walls :D

Hey, I recognize that building in the background of your first photo! Anyway, here's what I would try:

Basically, you want to make endcaps for the curved section to act as sides. So, duplicate that cylinder using shift-drag. Then, set the Z-scale to something like 1m and set the hollow to 0(zero). Position a copy on each side. Then, create side panels out of cube prims. Use the top-size feature to get the angles to match up.

Actually, there's another solution that may use fewer prims. Use flat cubes to make the side panels just as you describe, complete with the pointy edge. Now, create a texture of the entire side of your ship. Use an alpha channel mask on your texture to match the shape of the side panel. Basically, make everything that's white in your drawing, invisible. Then, apply the texture to the side of your ship.

If I see you around the neighborhood, I'll show you what I mean.
