Why did my megaprims go phantom?

I put my house in the rezzer, rezzed it, and discovered that the megaprim floors are now phantom. They were not phantom before -- are not phantom in the copy I put in the rezzer.

I put a script in some sculpted columns so I could make them phantom and could link them, and that works fine.

Any clue what the problem is?

Thanks!

Did you link the floor to the columns? That would do it, if the columns are phantom.

You didn't set it to physical, did you? I think H4 introduced some new thing were it would throw objects out of the physics engine and make them phantom if they were generating tons of collisions or otherwise behaving rudely. A megaprim on the ground, under a house, may well do such a thing.

/me bets Chosen is right, though.

I tried it again and I it works fine. I think the problem was that the megaprims were on a sim line, and that somehow made them phantom. But no clue really.

Thanks for the speedy replies!

/me takes credit for fixing it.

Any chance you TP'ed directly onto it? If you get pushed through or TP into a non-phantom prim, that prim will act as phantom until you move away from it. I think I've also seen it get stuck that way until you sit on something else but they may have fixed that part..

Even regular prims can behave strangely at sim borders. If a prim s strattling the border, it could seem to be phantom from one side, while being tangible from the other. With megaprims, the problem can appear more pronounced, since there's a greater chance that a substantial portion of it could be on the wrong side of the border.
