Hello,
I bought a jacket but while I managed to make the yellow glow wider, there's also a blue glow which I can't make wider, but it needs to be wider also.
I'm talking about the x y z size when you right click -> edit.
WHen I use rotate both glows rotate, but resize only yellow glow does.
How do I solve this?
Thank you.

Firstly, glow is handled in the texture tab not the object size. Second, maybe blue is not as bright as yellow and so yellow appears to "glow wider" than blue when other things such as size are the same.
But really I'm not sure I understand size and glow and rotation, and Jacket all in the same sentence. Could you maybe show a picture? Or explain the problem some more.

Like for example I have these boots. http://i50.tinypic.com/35ho8ig.jpgI can now modify the yellow glow only. And at "Size" I can change x y z but only for the yellow glow. Isn't there a way to change the whole boot size at once? This one doesn't have a "Touch" feature to change whole prim size, but how to do it without that? Thanks.

You are in Edit mode, looking at a linked object. The blue glow is simply the highlight applied to all prims in the linkset except for the root prim, which has a yellow glow. That much is clear from the photo you posted. I don't understand the rest of your post, though. It sounds as if your clothes have some sort of scripted resize function built into them. Is that what you mean by the "touch feature to change whole prim size?"
In any case, changing the size of the linkset should be easy. Just click the radio button labelled "Stretch" in the upper left corner of the Edit window. You should see white resize boxes appear at the corners of the object. Grab one and pull gently. The whole thing will resize. I'd recommend making a copy first because it's easy to stretch an object completely out of shape if you aren't careful.

Alright thanks. Because every skirt I wear is too small because of my wider hips. So I really need to resize everything. And yes with touch I meant one pair of boots had resize feature in it.

Ah. Sizing a skirt can be very tricky, because women come in all different shapes, not simply different sizes --- just like in RL. In general, unless you are very lucky you can't get away with simply stretching the whole skirt. If you try, you'll find that it may fit nicely on your hips but leave a huge gap at your tummy or over your backside.
The best way to do the job is to work at it one prim at a time VERY carefully. Wear the skirt while you are standing on a pose stand (so that you don't move at all), and then click the "Edit linked parts" box so that you highlight and work on individual linked prims. If the skirt has a waistband, start with it. Use the "stretch" tool (with the "stretch both sides" button clicked OFF) and gently stretch it in each of the directions till it looks right. Then, if necessary, use the "position" tool in local reference mode to move individual panels in the skirt very small amounts until they, too, are where you want them. If you must rotate them for any reason, be as gentle as you can. It's easy to lose control.
This is a very delicate task. It requires a bit of practice to get good at it, so I recommend doing that practice on a few freebie skirts that you really don't care about until your confidence is up. Even then, remember three rules:
1. ALWAYS make a backup copy before you start. 2. UNDO (Ctrl-Z) is your friend. It applies to individual prims, so if you make a mistake in positioning or stretching, all is not lost. 3. Be patient. If you work slowly and methodically, and stop for a while if you get fidgety, you'll do much better than if you push too hard.
If you look around SL, you'll see that many (most?) women never learn this task, or appear to even care about it. Their prim clothes sit too low on their hips, or leave their backsides exposed, or worse. Learning how to resize and shape clothing is not always easy, but it is worth the effort if you want to look good in the clothes you made ot bought.
BTW, this is also why it's important to buy only prim clothes that you will have copy/mod permissions on. If you can't copy and modify them, you're stuck.
