can anyone explain to me clearly what a rez box is?? i've been told it reduces the prims used on a sim. but, i'm feeling it more masks them. doesn't make sense to me that the prims wouldn't really be there, so, what effect does this have on the sim?

it is a collection of scripts that hold all the objects and when you walk nere it a sencor picks up on your presance and rezes everything for you to see and inter act with then when you walk out of range it de rezes them only really works in low traffic areas if there is alot of traffic then they are all rezed at the same time anywys and you have not saved much if anythingalso all the listenes and chatters that the system can use may couse lag as well
they work well for what they do they are not a replacement for good design and prim control
