Lights to see objects who are under water

Hello,

I alreadyasked this question in the scripting forum, but

I have a beachclub with a dancefloor on the water. In the middle is a transparant part where you can take a look underwater. I have pleced some stones with coral. But when it is dark you hardly see them even if you turn on the light option in the objects.

Is there something what makes objects visible when it is dark like spotlights orso.

These were some of the answers:

"The water is a funny thing, used to be that semi transparent textures showed through the water like a sore thumb (i.e. rendered on top of the water), might still be the case. Full bright the textures on your coral, add one light emitting prim as per Kenn's instructions (you can only see a max of 6 or 8 light sources at once, any more than that in a tight space and you get some nasty flickering."

"have you tried placing the dance floor prim at water level?
Try having a full-clear prim that extends slightly above to slightly below waterline.
That should keep the surface from obscuring the depths."

Water in SL has DENSITY - causing light to dissipate quickly.

Also, if the objects under water are FULL BRIGHT, light will not affect them.

Try your lights at highest intensity/radius/no falloff and make your underwater decorations not Full Bright. See if that achieves the effect you're looking for."

With the lights from above the dancefloor I can see the objects now.
Is is not exactly as I want to but that is a SL problem I think.

Is there a solution to have lights under water and which you see when you are above the water

Try placing some prims on underneath the floor, around the opening, blank texture and make them light with maximum coverage, I think 20 mts, and falloff of 0. That may do the trick.
