Attachment/Armor tutorial?

This might be in the wrong forum if so I approve it's removal but bare with me.

I have seen a few people create their own armor ingame. I always though you had to create stuff like thatin milkshape 3d or something at anyrate I would like to know if there is some sort of visual guide or tutorial that can teach how to do that? I hope it is fairly simple as I haven't even set four wall next to eachother ingame. (horrible FPS rates lately)

If you see it in-game, it can be made with in-game tools. Get yourself a posing stand (freely available in a gadgets box in Yandi's junkyard, and probably many other places), stand on it, and start building. The pose stand looks you in a "T" position, once you have built a part (like upper arm guard) you attach it and position it.

[Edit for clarity] the posing stand isn't actually needed, but positioning things without one is a nightmare.

If you don't know what the build tools can do, Check out the Ivory Tower Library of Primitives. This place has tutorials that a huge help when you are starting out.
