Ruby Moon Coffeehouse: Under Construction

So it's not as ambitious as RaAuser's beautiful Egyptian city, or as detailed as Maxen's ruins, but darnit, I'm new at this!

I am constructing the Ruby Moon Coffeehouse, named in honor of the first coffeehouse I ever went to back in my 'home' town of Brainerd MN. If you're at all familiar with the area, you can understand what a collosal addition this was to the community back in the mid 90s.

I'm not promising anything as fantasic as what you may see in other sims, or heck, even next door -- but what I am promising is great ambience for hanging out and a place for artists (like me, hee) to display their work for sale. My plan is to have a downstairs with a shop front, lobby and porch where people can enjoy the sunshine (maybe even a garden, not exactly sure yet), and a gallery upstairs where a few featured artists each month can put their work up for people to buy.

Being the meticulous sort, there is no official date on the grand opening -- but in the mean time, people can feel free to drop by while I'm building! I love to have guests, and while I'm not always the most talkative or attentive while doing so, everyone is welcome.

Exact location is lost in my head (I'll get it posted tomorrow or just ask for a landmark if you have my card), but it is in Stanford (a mature area) so be warned that you can be hurt here. Sassy Apple (mostly her!) and I have bought two pieces of oceanfront to make for a beautiful view to the edge of the sim, thus making your experience all the more pleasant.

Hope to see you soon!

Brainerd MN = Gull Lake? I spent a childhood summer there. Thats where a bunch of Okies used to go for the summer before they invented air conditioning. I hope your coffeehouse works out.

Due to the fact that my imagination has finally begun running away from me and so many people like the idea, I've decided to continue work on the coffehouse.

Please be sure to check out information on the event I will be holding to celebrate it's opening on the Events Forum!
