Marduk, you won't be able to import just any Blender file into SL. Rather, you need a combination of scripts that allow you to work in a Second Life-like environment within Blender, and then import that work into SL using a set of LSL scripts.
See this thread for specific information. Now you might be wondering what the advantage is ... you're still going to have to build using prims, for example, and you won't be able to do any vertex mesh editing like you normally would in Blender. Well, the big advantage that I see is that you have a cleaner, more easily navigated build environment in Blender. No avatar to get in the way, the ability to see prim arrangements from multiple angles simultaneously, etc. |

Although, I'm kinda giddy about trying a client hack to allow this.
