Can anyone tell me how you put houses and such into a box to be reopened?

Rezz the box. In the editor click on the contents tab. Drag any item from your inventory to the contents window.

Morgona if you're specifically talking about a house that is too large to be linked as one piece, to box it up properly you'll need to use a rez manager product that will preserve each section of your house's relative position when it is taken out of the box again.

I recommend Rez-Faux, its easy to use and works quite well
