Easiest way to mirror a shoe to complete the pair?

Hi,
Using Silo, I made a right shoe. The right shoe was opened in Wings 3D and exported as a sculpty bmp. Outcome was fine to that point.

Back in Silo, I mirrored the right shoe to get the left shoe, then used Wings 3D to generate the sculpt map for that one. The resulting sculpty appeared inside out (the external surface is invisible while the inside surface is visible). I horizontal flipped the bmp in photoshop, but no change to the inside out issue.

Is there a way to mirror a sculpty inworld? If not, please explain what I did not fix, and hopefully offer a solution.
Thanks!

mirroring sculpties

easiest way to mirror a sculpty..dont kick yourself..take the process one step further..flip the original UV map horizontally AND vertically(doesn't matter which one you do first)..OR rotate the original UV map 180 degrees(that takes care of flipping vertically and horizontally) I've been able to make perfect mirrord copies for car and train fenders this way..I'm sure it works shoe sculpts too..oh..(might have to do the same with the texture you overlay)

Hope I could Help.

I think I got it fixed

Thanks, Lana!
Meantime, I think I fixed it in Wings3D. Importing this new bmp into Wings to preview shows that it works, so I'll upload to sl to confirm. If I did not fix it, I'll try your suggestion.

What I did was load the right shoe into Wings, flip x, export sculpty bmp, flip bmp horizontal in photoshop. Whew!

If I don't write back to this thread, it worked inworld. :D
