Ok, another question from me: (I ask alot of them.. lol.) So I'm making a square building for practice sake, but I've been fussing with this one issue for literally hours now. I've ensured that the width/height and everything else matches up perfectly, but I still get these annoying dark lines bewteen my floor objects. Depending on my camera angel, the black line is dotted, dashed, and a full line.. I've tried making the other sides transparent, I've messed with their color, I've made them different textures, then made sure they are all the same texture on every side of every peice. I've tried several different times, starting with brand new shapes. I've tried them on the ground, in the air, small parts and huge parts. I've tried full squares, and full rectangles. Feel free to message ingame for a 'live' showing.. Lol. http://crypticmirage.com/SLR/blacklines_001.bmpPerhaps I'm simply too dumb to build anything on SL.

It is the border of each prim. It's a seam that sometimes you can't do anything about other than hide it by making the floor and abutting sides black.

Turn on anti-aliasing in your video card settings.

It looks a lot like your alignment is off. Have you learned to use the "copy selection" tool yet? Best and easiest way to get clean alignment on large surfaces.
However, there are no guarantees. Nothing in SL is ever exactly perfect, but you can get close enough to past muster. The right angles and lighting in Windlight will show seams on builds from even the biggest names in SL content creation...it just is what it is.
