1. How do I shape a prim into an ascending spiral for a staircase? I can't seem to get that right.
2. I'm building a club for a friend on her property. How do I transfer ownership of the finished building to her? I don't want her to accidentally rez the whole building away when she does a sweep of people's lost prims.
Thanks in advance.

twist a cube, play with the size until you get the desired effect.
Sell her the house but check it for "original" instead of "copy".

cube isn't an effective staircase.. Trying to remember what is the normal shape for them.. Could be a torus but I'm not 100% sure. They do have one minor issue - only going anti-clockwise as you ascend. If you send me an IM in game I can fish out a pre-built one and send it you to play with.

Do you want actual steps or a ramp style one? For a good tutorial on this check the library of primitives. If you have not been there yet, check go through it step by step. Was an invaluable tool when I first started. Lots of tutorials on prim manipulation.

Hi I am new here but I guess that in the
Ivory Tower Library of Primitives
exists a construction course that descripes step by step how such a spiral stair is constructed.

I believe its the shape called 'tube'. You have to hollow it out and do a cut end and begin to reveal the spiral surface.

For a generic spiral "staircase" (ramp style...actual steps are possible but the prims you need are ridiculous) just make a cylinder, hollow it to about 50%. Twist it 180 and -180. Lastly do a begining cut of 75% or more.
Play around with that to get exactly what you want.
