getting textures straight on triangles |

Is there a special way to do this, no matter how many ways I rotate and stretch my textures on triangles I cannot seem to make them straight.

Did you try 'Planar mapping'? (apposed to 'Default mapping')

If you're not already familiar with it, Chosen Few's alignment texture can be a great help. See /109/45/214824/1.html.

Dora's right. Planar mapping is your friend.
