I searched for any info about "How To" Create a working HUD. I have found nothing but a location to go see an Example. I would think someone has some info (like L Labs) on how to use them.

Basic HUD How-To

Hi Coos!
HUD objects in Second Life are identical to any other object, and the process used to create them is the same, the only difference being what you do with the object once you have created it. Try the following..
Hope that helps, Sun. edit: If you need another example to look at I have a freebie HUD calculator which you can find at my store in Tawhaki |

I once created a simple HUD that works like a flash animation, each prim worked like a button and had a script inside, the script sends message to other prims (using link message or by ID please it is not much of a good idea flooding channels with it).
And you attach the prim at your HUD, mostly commands were triggered by touch event _____________________
