Multiple Sided Cones?

Hi, im sure theres a name for the shape, but honestly, i dont think the correct terminology will help much. Im looking for a way to use triangles to make a cone almost, with flat sides. Multiple sides would work well. I tried this myself ingame and i jsut cant get the geometry right. If my description didnt quite help, examples are often seen on older houses, usually victorian, and they are what i call the "turrets"

Any help would be greatly appreciated, or a tool that does it itself would be fantastic
