Linking a flexible prim to a solid prim?

Can anyone help me on how I would link or attach a prim to the end of a flexible prim? I want the solid prim to follow the flexible path of the flexi prim. No matter how I try linking them to each other, the solid always remains in a fixed location.

I apologize if I am posting this question in wrong forums section. Wasnt sure whether to ask in the scripting tips or animating sections. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Have a safe and happy weekend all.

That's not possible with the current system.

I'm guessing here, but..................

The reason it probably does not move is that the flexible prim is not really flexible at all, but like rotating prims, it's actually solid and still fixed in the same place it's always been.

The flexing of it is just an illusion built into the viewer/client software.

Thank you very much Annabelle & Piggie. That makes sense to me Piggie, I guess I need to try something else such as like making a morph file, somewheres along the lines as it would be done using 3DS max. I suppose I could try doing a motion capture file in motion builder, max or poser and try adding it as an animation. I was just hoping was an easy way to connect or link the solid prim to the so called flexi prim. I also was thinking I could maybe make a sculpted prim so flexi prim and solid prim were actually one prim, but from looking at the build software in SL, sculpted prims cannot be set to flexible paths either. Think I will give making a morph/animation file, doing a motion capture & see if that works. Thanks again for the help. Have a great day.

Flexible sculpts have been "on the drawing board" since they arrived but zero news has appeared since. The question pops up occasionally.

You can "morph" sculpts, from one shape to the next but loading times must be taken into account so not 25 frames a second. Although it can be done with parcel media and video.

I won't ask but wonder what one does with motion-capture, animations and flexie prims.
