Hi All Other than Rokuro or Toroken can anyone recommend any other programs for making sculpted prims, as I find both of the above not that great.... I have heard of Maya, but from what I hear you need to take out a second mortgage to own it - hehe! Or am I wrong there?? Any how any recommendations welcome Edited to say: Just found the sticky at the top of the thread - doh....but any comments always welcome!! TIA BB

Sculpty Paint. Tricky to learn, but pretty darned powerful for the price http://www.xs4all.nl/~elout/sculptpaintI also use ZBrush to created sculpted prims, saving my models as OBJs and then importing into Maya and cooking them down to sculpts. That's a pretty expensive approach though. I hear tell that Blender and/or Wings3d may have some sculpt abilities. There's a number of programs that can make them.. search this forum for "sculpt".... I think you'll be surprised what you find.

After searching for and reading all the other comments here in the forums, yuou can also do the wame at the Second Life Wiki. There is a lot of info about 3D modeling/sculpties there.
Also, search Youtube for sculpty tutorials.
