Greetings,

Sorry, my english is crappy.

I need a little help or/and I'm really tired of camera problem. Everytime when I create tiniest things like creating jewellery prims. The camera moved by itself when I turned around.. it bounced back to.. well long distance away from that tiny items. Why can't SL add something like auto snap closer to it and stick to it like lock and work ong prim only. I am so sick sick sick of it, everytime I move around..I re-work for hours to be closer to the prim. Ahh finally then I start to work, maybe in 10 min later... the old camera bounce back to normal position. GRR. Is there a way to lock it and not to move, so I can rotation or turn around my prim just like program called, "3dsmax". I only move it without positions. Is sl camera a bug? Is there a good hud/program or something camera not to move but the prim only? Or is there any good tip how to avoid...

many thanks,
~Xia

What you're experiencing is a long standing bug. Unfortunately, there's not much we can do about it.

If you're using the alt-camera you shouldn't have to move at all?

Other than that, using the on screen camera controls can help with fine tuning distances, as does putting walls a little past your prims to lock camera on.
