When is the Havok physics engine expected to be up and running?

Tha Havok physics engine has been a part of SL since day 1. If you're asking when SL will update to Havok 2, it will happen in 1.7, which will most likely come some time in July.

I'm not aware of any complete list of 1.7 changes. I doubt one exists since 1.7 is still a work in progress. What I do know comes from various town halls, forum threads, and news articals in which Lindens have mentioned a few certainties, one of these being Havok 2.

Uh, okay, but when they mark the proposal as passed, announce it no less than two different town halls, and talk about it openly on the forums as a done deal, I think it's safe to assume they're not kidding around.

yes it has been said havok 2 is in 1.7 and after that they will move in to 2.0 rather than continue with 1.8.
