How do I insert my creator name into an Avatar skin? I want to see my custom name in the creator field in the skin item properties.

you can't "insert" it , it is automatically added to the object when you create it.

In your inventory go,
Create-->New Body Parts-->New Skin
Your name will be listed as the creator.

actually shapes are borked in a way, ive created a few shapes and none of them show who the creator is, a shape i bought does not show who the creator is either ive never beenable to see the creators name on shapes it just says (unknown) in a pale grey
