Hello,

I have this problem with the boots, resizing doesn't really work but what does?

I don't know how to make the boots normal with soles on the floor instead in the floor.

Thank you

Do the boots have an animation in them?

- Edit the boots and move them up on your leg, you should use a pose stand that allows your legs to be straight and your feet flat. You can adjust the boot until your feet show and then correct the adjustment so your feet do not show.

I often have to do this with sandals/flats for some reason.

OK, I just don't have any poses at all but I'll try, thanks.

And no, no animation.

What words I should search for on xstreet to get such a pose?

Not a "pose". A Pose Stand..... an object that you stand on while you're making adjustments to clothing. They're free all over SL. If you don't have one, I'll send you one in world when I get in.

also not that the collision plane for ground and prims is a bit off... ground collision plane is inside the ground, prim collision plane is outside the prim. and any animation playing on your av may, in combination with your body settings may make you seem to be higher or lower in comparison to the actual collision plane.

net result... aim for something close to right because different animations and surfaces will tweak it and it'll never be perfect.

Also if you are using one of the alternate viewers such as Emerald (note I am not affiliated with them nor am I endorsing their viewer) you can adjust your avatars bounding box in any given direction on all three axis. Using this you can adjust yourself upwards along the Z axis which will work everywhere.

Will everyone see the effect, or only other Emerald users?

I think only the Emerald users will see it..........in fact even they may not when I think about it. And when you remove those boots and put on a different pair shoes/footwear you'll have to adjust back down. The best way is to adjust the prim attachment itself then once that's done you won't have to do again.

I've had to do that on every pair of "toe shoes" I've purchased. I found it's actually best not to use a pose stand just wait for your avi to stand in one of the default stands where the legs are equally spread slightly and the avatar is upright. Click to edit and it freezes you avi until you exit edit.

Everyone sees it as far as I can tell.
