I am using Zbrush 3 recently. I really like it. I already created the sculpted Mesh and tested it in game. All good but... The problem is I can not find something more such as click on face of a sculpted mesh and do something like Maya, 3dsmax or other program does. I am searching to find something on such strange interface of zbrush 3.. I can't find at all! Please do NOT give me the url about how to build monster-ass face tutorial or manuels. They are for men. Just explain direct to me. In game or post right here, kay? Anyone of you can explain to me HOW to bevel or exclude this sculpted prim? That's all I ever want to know. Just write few steps. Thanks

Hiya Xia,
You can't use those types of functions for sculpty objects because they produce the wrong type of mesh. Sculpties have a very simple mesh.

From: 2k Suisei Hiya Xia, You can't use those types of functions for sculpty objects because they produce the wrong type of mesh. Sculpties have a very simple mesh. Darling, you do not understand my question. I created couple of sculpted before, as well as upload them to secondlife.. (I used maya, 3dsmax and others). I only want to experience with Zbrush to see if it is much cooler than other 3d programs. I downloaded a sphere then transformed it. Done, very cool but I want to push some of the face of a sculpted mesh inside or pull this or move around as transform option. That's it. The problem is I can't find a 'select' on face or verticle sculpted mesh to move around or transform it or to bend. Not whole sculpted mesh... JUST one or more face(s) on a sculpted mesh. SELECTION! WHERE? So then I can able to exclude it or whatever.

Okay, I think I'm understanding you now. ZBrush isn't a low poly modeler and so it doesn't really have polygon or vertex selection tools like Maya or Max. Instead Zbrush uses clumsy masks. You can paint a mask by holding down the Ctrl key. The masking options are on the panel to the right. Btw - there's an awesome tutorial showing you how to make a monster-ass head over here: http://www.southerngfx.co.uk/general/tutorials/efx/efx.htm

haha. So I still didn't answer your question!. What you wanted to know was how to push the surface inwards rather than pull it outwards. Yes, press Alt!
