Hello, I am a newbie, sorry, if my question has already been answered before.
I want to create objects, but I do not want to be shown as the creator.
I have seen objects where the creator information is blank, but I have found no way to do this myself with my objects.
The reason is that I do not want my students laughing at my first creations.
Any suggestions? - Thanks in advance!

No you cannot control the creator. The blanks one that you see are usually for 2 reasons. 1) SL slow database response. If you keep trying it may show the creator after awhile. 2) A multiprim object if it had prims from multiple creators don't show who the creator is, but if you do an inspect is will show all the creators.

You could always create an alt and let them make fun of the alt's creations.

Why not? We all start somewhere... be proud of your first creations. Everyone makes mistakes and everyone has to learn.

Actually, a multi-prim object will normally show as belonging to whomever made the root prim. If a person's account no longer exists, it also shows up as "No Creator", and a couple of the bigger database glitches in the past created a few of these. But it's not something you can do, and for good reason.
