I believe you're wondering how to link objects?

Hiya Allan

Ok you need to link pieces, to do this right click, Choose edit, Hold down your shift key and click each piece you want to join, Once all pieces are selected, click (up the very top) tools, Link,

Depending on how far apart the onjects are you may get a unable to link error message, This is due to secondlife linking limits.

Hope this helps, Need anymore help feel free to ask

Nat

linking prims
07-11-2006 06:06
prims can be linked to form objects that act as on thing:)

to do this all you have to do is SHIFT/left click all the pieces. make sure the last piece you click is the main piece as this becomes the ROOT PRIM. if rotating the object will rotate around its root prim. also the root prim is the one that determines where an object will be placed.

If you have any other questions please dont hesitate to contact me in game:)

Sorry i forgot the final bit about linking prims.hehe

to actually link them you need to goto TOOLS/LINK in the menus at the top of the screen.
make sure you do not have edit linked prims checked in the edit window 1st though.
