Resizing A Plant?

I realize I'm one of THOSE .. a newbie. .. LOL, but I'm doing really well, except for some things tend to stump me here and there. I just rented a skybox a week ago, and have made all my own furnishings from scratch .. all except the plants.

I just bought a set of 7 plants that were able to be copied and resized. When I opened them, they were HUGE ... I thought they were houseplants. Anyway, the 'note' says they can be edited to any size ... and I can resize the pot fine, but when I try to shrink down the plant itself, which seems to be either a sculpt or transparent prim, it actually just 'crops' the plant .. as if you were cropping a photo.
It cuts off all outside areas of the plant ... and I'm stumped as how to do this.

Any suggestions and help will be greatly appreciated! I want to invite friends over and show them my new place, but want to set the plants up first.

Thanks so much guys!

Make sure you have "stretch textures" set in the edit box.

YAY! You're my new hero! :-)

Thanks so much! It worked great .. I now have a variety of lovely houseplants scattered all over the skybox.

Hugs,
