Not sure what you mean by zoomed in bug but whenver the camera gets screwey, I just hit ESCAPE twice (once to remove the chat, and again to reset camera) then press ENTER again to open the chat up.

The camera bug is the disconcerting jump that occurs when zoomed really tight into prims - typically when working with very small prims. It can be pretty annoying.
For instance, make a cube, set it to 0.04x0.04x0.01 - that's your tic-tac-toe board. Give it a tile texture, or any texture set to 3x3 repeats. Then, rez a cylinder, make it 0.01x0.01x0.01, and 95% hollow. That's the circles for the game. Position the circle, then drag/copy two others to make a winning tic-tac-toe result. When you zoom in with your camera to see the pieces, everything is fine... but when you click and move a piece, the camera snaps away a bit, and your piece gets unselected, or shot several meters away.
What Asphyxiate suggests is that instead of zooming in closer with the camera controls, fake the zoom by changing the viewing angle. Typically, you see the world through about a 60° field-of-view. That's the shaded area on your mini-map. If you hit ctrl-0 a few times, the field-of-view shrinks down to something like 5°.... but the image fills the screen, making everything appear larger. Ctrl-9 resets the field-of-view back to default. Ctrl-8 will increase the field, giving the world a fish-eye look.
