I have run across a prim cut I just think of as the "Chandelier Prim". Hopefully some other prim nuts will get a kick out of it. I am sure it is nothing new to the afficionados. It can be seen in action at the unfinished ballroom at Olive(196,183). It is just a twisted tube. Pic attached.

Sharing knowledge - Instructions attached (micro version, just stretch).

The texture is a multitude. There are so many surfaces on this prim to play with I haven't even touched all the possibilites, but thank you... It took a while to get it how I wanted it.

Very nice! And your textuing is stunning.

I really like the added dimensions some of the even twist (same xy) prims allow.

Of course I had to attempt to duplicate your oddity, Damanios. I set the outside surface of the spindle to alpha to look for the secret egg inside and... no egg. :( Where did I go wrong?
