What have LL done? In edit mode - go to textures and none of my inventory shows up. So I now have to open my inventory, trawl through all the textures, find the one I want and then put its name in the texture page in edit.
Does this drive anyone else mad?

I heard it's a bug, and that dropping 1 texture into the root of your inventory sometimes fixes it. But it's really annoying yes. Haven't tried that fix myself yet though.

The search still works. When you go to the texture chooser window, just type in a few characters and it will snap to it.

What I find works best is to type a single letter at a time, and pause half a second to a second between letters. It "gives up" too fast on the search results, reporting a failes search when in fact it is still indexing inventory.

Does this drive anyone else mad? No need to put the name anywhere. When you find the one you want in inventory just drag it onto the texture spot in your edit dialog. But yeah.. it's busted. |
