I have start a project of mine where I will be creating my own SL world. Therefore I have questions. I will start with the ones I have now and reply back with any other ones I come up with. I am creating my own grid on my PC using OpenSim and if all goes well, I might connect it to a grid. I am totally new to this but not to the 3d world.

- I know by default, when I start my server, I have one land already available. I understand that this land has a fixed size and if I want something bigger, I would have to create additional lands and put them aside each other. I also understand that I could group up all those lands into an Estate. The problem is, I do not know how to create additional lands and how to group them as an Estate. How do I do this ?

- Once I have created several lands and/or an Estate, will avatars be able to travel between them without problems or do I have to set up something ?

- If I have an Estate, the sum of all prisms on the lands cannot go over that maximum amount or is it on an single land basis ?

- Can any objects created on a land be movable to another land being part of the same Estate ? What if the other land is not from the same Estate ?

- Does an Estate have its own settings which apply to all lands in it ?
