I bring the following up as I was just on a thread covering the feelings of nausea some get when walking in malls or places that are very busy, so....

For those who build anything interactive in SL, stores, interfaces, etc, I have learned that a book i carry with me everywhere my day job goes has also been a valuable asset while designing in SL. I have no affiliation with the book--just wanted to share.

Universal Principles of Design

at work, as a GUI designer, i call this book my Bible, because i carry it like a preacher, and i quote from it, and then everyone shuts up ;). It covers 100 principles that can be invaluable while planning out your new store or building the next killer SL app, and written in an incredibly clear style.

Thanks, Court. I'm always interested in books like this. I'll definitely check it out.
