I build homes and stores on contract for various people and find it always a pain to transfer everything over to the customer. Anyone care to chime in on ways to make this less of a problem.

Easy!

I don't in many cases.

WHat I do is grab the entire build and place it in inventory, name the object, set the prims to copy-mod-transfer and give THAT to the customer.

Then I tell them that if they damage the build somehow, that can just rez the full copy from inventory and place that.

Does that help?

Hi Diamondback -

You might try linking up the build into groups, take a copy into your inventory for backup, then set each part for sale at $0. Most important, make sure to sell 'original' - this will transfer the build to them, otherwise they'll just end up getting copies while the one inworld stays owned by you.
