The build I am on suddenly developed phantom prims in the floor. This is not new although I haven't come across it for some time. Normally, we just drag-copy off the original, leaving a new non-phantom prim. That works fine. But the phantom prim in question is not ALL phantom, and it's not alone. I attached an image showing me on it and in it. One prim, part phantom, part non-phantom. The red part is another prim i used to highlight the phantom area (which IS MADE phantom so I can show you.)
Hmmm... Now I may have to walk my av over every sq metre of all builds to check for this. Guess its walls too but we don't walk on them.
I guess it's been like this all the time, I just have not noticed so my questions is: Are you getting phantom prims again? Is the bug back or has it been here all along? And have you noticed part-phantom prims to be a new bug or have I just not seen it before?
edit: Once the prim is "taken" and re-rezzed it is phantom no more. So maybe it don't matter at all.

Drag-copy fixed it in my case. Keep in mind that the one that stays put is the new one, and the one you drag is the old one.

My experience has been that this bug has never fully gone away, although it has seemed to have gotten better. It doesn't seem to happen as often anymore, but it still does happen.

In cases where drag-copy fails to fix it, look for an overlap with a prim in the same plane - IE. one of the other floor prims that it is touching. Eliminate that overlap and it will likely fix the 'soggy floor syndrome'.
And yeah. It's never gone away, but we do see it less often now.

Yes team, I know all about it and how to fix it. Thing is, only part of the prim is phantom, not all of it. Only reason I posted. Just never noticed before or read about it. I'll rephrase the question: When this does happen, have you noticed parts of the prims remain solid but the rest is phantom?
