i been trying and tring to learan to buid that cool concave cone shape that tops a spire.....can anyone help?

If I'm understanding correctly I believe you can get what you want with a hollowed and cut torus. I'm not in-world now to give details, but I'm sure someone will chime in if you mess around with this and don't get the results you need.

Take a tube, hollow it all the way, set the hollow shape to circle, and profile cut it to get rid of the outside, along with a good porton of the inside.. You'll end up with something very close to a concave cone.
