Is there a way to convert files from mudbox (.mud and .obj) to sculpty map, some converter, other modeling program that exports to sl or anything? Wings 3D errors on exporting.
Also, what are modeling programs like Wings 3D,Mudbox,Sculptie Painter and so. I tried some but i just get confused.Should i rather use Blender then some of them?

The limitation of the Wings exporter is that requires template meshes to create sculpty maps. You can try exporting a mesh from Wings out as an .obj and import it into Mudbox, then export it back out from Mudbox as a .obj (.mud can only be read by Mudbox AFAIKT) and back into Wings to see if it works. The issue is that the Wings plug in needs the mesh vertex order to be the same as what it's coded for, or it won't work.

Blender is a free 3d app like Wings. It's exporter doesn't seem to require the mesh to have a specific vertex order so you might want to check it out to see if it suits your purposes.

There is a nice breakdown of 3d apps on the SLWiki you can peruse http://wiki.secondlife.com/wiki/Sculpted_Prims:_3d_Software_Guide
