Hi, I have download the free trial version of SLtk pro plugin which is used to import the Maya objects into second life. Now I can able to export some Maya objects into second life which was implicitly gave by that plugin(ex:that plugin having some cube, cylinder etc.,I made some small changes on that objects then am convert that into text files.here I can able to export that objects into scond life). But if am created that objects using Maya after that am convert that objects into text file using that Sltk plugin means its not working in second life rather than am getting one oval shape model only.I thought I made mistake in exporting.so I ve read full website tutorial of simtools.still am not get clear idea about that..anybody please tell me what are all special limitation while using that plugin and tell me any other tutorial for sltk pro plugin.

this is probably a model to prim exporter. if you want something like that i suggest you go get AC3D and use this http://www.slexchange.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=382682it will allow you to import models in ac3d and export them in its native format. .tri and then according to the importer s page on slx you can upload them into the importer. now there is however a draw back to this. the importer uses multiple prims to make the shapes look right. so be careful on how many faces and triangles your model has.

is it possible the oval is the sculpty. sometimes when you use sculptys for the first time the system has to load them and they appear in the form of a oval or flat sphere. after a few seconds or if the sim is lagging a few minute it should appear as it should

For me it seems that sltk (for an unbelievable price) "just" uses/combines standard prims to build/export a maya-project. So maybe your changes break this process? But I don't know its limitations.. At least I think the question doesn't refer to sculpties!?
