I've been playing with flexi's awhile now and have run across a problem. It could be due to the updates, but now when I create a flexi prim it's phantom and won't change. I'm kinda new to the game but can say i have made non phantom flexi's before. Can anyone help mee, maybe I'm doing something wrong?

you can't make a non-phantom flexi unless perhaps it's linked to a non phantom normal prim, and the flex one will still be a phantom part of the linkset

Documentation says: when one of the linked objects is flexible, the whole object becomes phantom

From: Zeeiteez Zhu so i guess there isnt any1 who can help mee? i kno it can be done ive done it but cant figure out how i did...if any1 can help plz do hehe im at a builders block because of this sl bugg=/ it can't be done. if there has been a bug it would have been when you alledgedly created a non-phantom flexible prim. the only time i've seen anything similar was when i was building inside a sim when it crashed and for some reason nothing came up to notify me of said crash, and i carried on building, not realising that what i created was not being transfered into SL. in this situation i often haven't been able to change the status of a prim or the selected/deselected status boxes don't correlate with what the prim is actually doing (which is usually what tips me off that i've been disconnected.

sayin anything nice? im simply a person looking for answers, what isnt nice is for you to apply an answer to my post when you obviously have no clue, then tell mee im not nice and something else which isnt even a word. i have many non phantom flexi prims ive made, and can show you if you say you've never seen this or that. so please dont get upset n reply rude to my post when my question is simply above your head, tyvm =) lets try to keep the forums a place for answers, not flamage =)

And don't accuse them of being rude to you, when they are not, but you are, instead. Carry on like that, and you can expect no one wanting to help you. Good luck!
