I've been using Rokuro for about 7 months, up until recently I've had no problems bringing the uv maps into Sl and adding them to sculpted prims and getting the desired result, sizing is off sometimes but that's easy to fix. About 3 weeks ago I brought uv maps in as usual and they wouldn't work with sculpted prims, or any prims for that matter. Anyone else had this problem? if so how did you fix it please?

FYI: Sculpt maps and UV maps are two different things. UV maps control the placement of 2D textrues on a 3D surface. Sculpt maps control the positional displacement of vertices in 3D space to for the shape of a sculpty. In technical terms, sculpt maps are vertex displacement maps.
Every sculpty has the same UV map, a 33x32 uniform grid. Not every sculpty has the same displacement map (sculpt map), which is why they're all different shapes.
In any case, what's going wrong when you try to apply your sculpt map? Does the prim not change shape at all, or does it become a strange shape you weren't intending?

From: Chosen Few Every sculpty has the same UV map, a 33x32 uniform grid. Not every sculpty has the same displacement map (sculpt map), which is why they're all different shapes. It's actually a 32 x 32 face grid. On a planar sculptie that gives 33 x 33 vertice. The cylinder is the only type that actually gives a 33 x 32 vertice grid. The 33rd column's vertex positions are read from the first column to provide wrapping. So you still get 32 faces but with only 32 different vertex positions per row. On a sphere it's the same as cylinder except row 1 and row 33 are read as a single vertex from the 17th column , If you want the poles to match the 33rd row vertex should really be in the same position as the 17th on the previous row, or you can move it and utilise the extra vertex. The torus type has wrapping in both directions so only has a 32 x 32 vertice grid but still has the full 32 x 32 faces.

Well Taxus I am not sure exactly what is your are seeing. but I do know that the client viewer do have a few bugs in them that don't allow them to load correctly or take an extreem amount of time to load. I have had them take up to 10 mins to load.
Things to try. Clear your cache then relog. wait a long time for the culpt to load turn down your draw distance to help speed things up. The only one I have any luck with is the Release Candidate the normal viewer has to many problems with sculpts.
