Over the past few weeks I've found temporary-on-rez items can last for days. Is there some problem with the way these object are cleaned now?
The good news is temp-on-rez items still don't use prim count.

I've noticed radically different temp on rez times depending on the sim that I'm in, with objects in lightly loaded (near empty) sims usually lasting up to about 10 minutes. I've never heard of them lasting hours, or days though.

Hi Nepenthes.  I have some temp-on-rez leaf thingies on my land. They used to stick around for about 80 or 90 seconds. let me check them now... Test 1 : 150 seconds Test 2 : 92 seconds Test 3 : 195 secs Test 4 : 197 secs certainly seems different - at least on my parcel. From: someone depending on the sim that I'm in, with objects in lightly loaded (near empty) sims usually lasting up to about 10 minutes. That makes sense. If there are lots of Prims left in a Sim then it would be less of a problem to have the Temp objects hanging around for a while longer. |

I'll check usage in the sim where I had things last a few days. I know the parcel was near full (that was why i made the object temp on rez, I didn't want to waste prim count with silly things.) but I'm not sure about the sim. |

I ran a test of my own last night..
I started with a 4 prim bush, checked the 'Tempory on rez' checkbox and took it into my inv.
I checked my parcel stats, to see what my current prim usage was.
I rezzed my new temp bush in world, checked the properties again, yep, still marked as 'temp on rez'
But when i checked my current prim usage, it had increased by 4 ( the number used in the bush ). I sat down and waited for my bush to be deleted. 10minutes passed by, nothing happened.
Maybe it wouldnt delete itself cos i was looking at it, i thought, so i left the sim for a couple of hours. When i got back, my 'tempory on rez' bush was still there.
Is the entire thing not working anymore, or am i failing to use it properly?
