How do I group prims? For example I have three spheres, and I want to group them so that they all move together, all delete themselves, all modify themselves without having to do it one-by-one. Is it possible?

Select all the prims and select link from the tool menu. There are several ways to select multiple prims. Select the first prim. Hold down the shift key while selecting each subsequent prim. You can also select by toggling the "select by surrounding" option to on in the tool menu and then click and drag a rectangle around your prims.

unlinked prims will move together from the move handles, but not from adjusting the numbers, same with rotations, size can be affected by the scale handles (ctrl+shft) but not by numbers for all of them whether linked or not, texture controls for all sides operations work linked or selected, other prim properties are not available for multiple selections (things like hole size, twist, flexi, etc)

if you aren't doing this during building (ie this is a product and does these actions on some type of trigger) you can script the changes, but will need 3 scripts minimum to get complete simultaneous action.

Thanks, this will really come in handy when creating a room (strectching multiple prims into walls.)
