I'm using moment of inspiration to make sculptie and 3dm2sculp.exe to export them but it only make TGA's in 64x64, any one know a better exporter or a hack of 3dm2sculp.exe that can do 256x256? it does improve it to stretch 64x64 to 256 but I'm sure it would be better if it came out the right size first.

From: Linnian Sugar I'm using moment of inspiration to make sculptie and 3dm2sculp.exe to export them but it only make TGA's in 64x64, any one know a better exporter or a hack of 3dm2sculp.exe that can do 256x256? it does improve it to stretch 64x64 to 256 but I'm sure it would be better if it came out the right size first. At this point in time, the minimal JPEG comression artifacts seem to come by creating a 256x256 bitmap where each pixel in the model gets replicated as many times as necessary. This is what you get by rescaling the image in your paint program, assuming you don't ask for interpolation. (In Photoshop in particular, choose the "nearest neighbor" option.) So having exporters do it will be more convenient, but won't necessarily give better results than you can get manually. The next version of the Wings 3D exporter will do this automatically, but that is probably a week or so away.
