Linking pose balls in builds

I have built a circular seating area that will have about 10 poseballs seated around the bench of it. I've noticed in the past that when I link poses into larged link set objects, the poses behave strangely and tend to toss the avatar into the air when you stand up. Are there any guidelines for the best way to link a large number of poses into an object?

Thanks!!

Isa

In my experience the "tossing up" effect happens when one prim of the linkset is above the prim containing the sitting posture. With poseballs hovering above a chair I've never seen that effect.

more concisely, the "toss" happens when the avatar is intersecting an object in the seated position, so the moment that the avatar "unseats", they trigger the "whoops I'm intersecting a prim" bump. You can simulate this buy making a prim, moving it to intersect your torso, then type something, and "woooooah you'll go flying". The culprit might actually BE the poseball itself!

The solution is to carefully tune your sit positions so that your avatar is not intersecting a non-phantom object the moment they are unseated. A simple trick might be to set the poseballs together as a separate "object" so tthe ring of balls can be set to phantom.
