Does anyone know of a tutorial to make a oriental/dojo roof? You can reach me at Tim Bulldog, on the TG.

For a simple Asian-style roof, with eaves that curl upward slightly, try making it with two pieces of hollowed, flattened and cut cylinders, and use two triangles for flar ends on the gables of the roof. You position the cylinder pieces with the hollowed side upward.

Making one that curls upward on all 4 edges, and more at the corners, is tricky and prim-intensive. (Using a sculpty prim at the corners would help a lot, if you can malke the right shape. I haven't figured out sculpties enough for that yet, however.) Start with a flat-panel roof. Then add hollowed cylinder sections to make the edges of the eaves curl upward. Then, at each corner, use two hollowed cone sections to get the upturned corner peaks.

Good luck!
