Ok, I'm a newb. I admit it. I've been designing clothes for all of a week, just learned how to match my seams and avoid that dreaded white halo. Making a prim skirt was easy, so I decided to tackle a bigger project: I want to make prim suspenders. You know, when suspenders hang from pants in little half-elipses? I've made the texture, but I can't seem to get the prim thick enough to be seen from all angles. I used a half-sphere and sized it how I want, but I can't get it to appear solid from all anges, like it's too thin to be seen.

Any pros with tips? I searched the forums but couldn't really find and answer that helped so far.

Hi

I assume from your description that you are using an alpha texture on the prim.
If this is the case all you nee to do is click the select texture button at the top of the edit window and then select the side faces of the prim. you can now put a different texture on those faces you selected. you can also adjust the texture that is there already so that it becomes the size you require.

Hope this helps

When you get them done, let me know. I know a few firefighters who are looking for suspenders to go with their turnouts.

Catenaries, I think, not ellipses. 8-)
