Zbrush Shapes?

Hi i have Zbrush and a couple of questions!

im trying to mess around with shapes, i can edit a sphere and make almost anything from it, but is there already pre-made shapes that i can mess with i wanted to do like cubes but im not sure how.


Second question..

How do i get a hole in a object, like sphere, i want to make kinda like a ring but not sure how to make the hole in the sphere..

Would help me alot and thanks for looking.

You can use almost all of zBrush's built-in primtive shapes as starting points for sculpties, as long as you are careful about the initial settings for the objects. I've made a video tutorial that explains the process:

Some of the info in this video related to 2k Suisei's Sculpty Maker converter is slightly out of date. Check this post for more info about the hdivide and vdivide settings for the various shapes:
