Someone can send me hints and tips about softwares to produce RAW files ?

I will receive my SIM on next week and I'd like to upload a RAW file with my terraforming needs.

Thanx !

Photoshop is ideal. Paintshop Pro and GIMP are good alternatives.

For instructions, see the Knowledge Base. http://secondlife.com/knowledgebase/article.php?id=288

Hmm. I didn't realize GIMP can't create RAW files natively. A quick bit of Googling uncovered this plugin. I don't know if it will work or not, but give it whirl.

I also read that Photoshop's RAW plugin will work with GIMP, so if you can get a hold of it, that's another option.

Windows Vista has built-in RAW support, so that might be another possibility, although it may just be read support, not write support. I haven't switched to Vista yet myself, so I don't really know how it works. I probably won't be touching Vista for at least another year. I want to give software makers time to figure out what to do with it themselves before I start messing with it.

I seem to get by ok on large and small builds with prim.docker, prim.sitter, a calculator and some good friends.
