Ok, I'm trying to make a few L$ by building some stuff, but of course to do this, I need to learn to, and practice building things. Well I ran into my first problem today, jsut fooling around with the Creation process. How would I make a shape curve? say I had a cylinder, is there a way to make it curve 90 degrees? Thanks. This'll be where I post the problems I face, rather than making new threads for each one.

I suggest going to the Ivory Tower for help in building. As for a shaped curve...try making a torus and cutting it to the bend you want. I'm not telling you "exactly" how to do it becase you'll learn more by trying and playing.  good luck and have fun |

I'll second the Ivory Tower recommendation. It's the most useful place I've found in SL as yet. It's taught me all I know. Ok, that might not amount to much, but I knew bugger all twelve days ago!

Help Island has an amazing tutorial as well. I sat and read it all one day when setting up an alt. I even learned something from it, after being a builder for 9 months.
