I have just bought Prim Docker. I also am working on a new manor but the tinting of textures won't stay. Is this because of SL issue or Prim Docker Issue?

Example: I place and texture all my floors, then went back to tint them darker when I realized they were too light. I get done and if I try to do anything else the tint reverts.

Most likely an SL glitch. If you change the texture or color of a bunch of prim faces all at once, sometimes it doesn't 'take' on all faces that you had selected, and yout have to re-apply the change repeatedly until it works. Last night I retextured a 30-prm stairway, and it took 6 tries to get all the prim faces to switch to the new texture.

I would guess it's Prim.Docker, since its script changes color to Blue or Green to highlight what you are working on. Experiment with a few prims to see if deleting the Prim.Docker client from Contents fixes the anomaly.

Then you could Purge all scripts before tinting.

I just found this at the Prim.Docker website for Version 4, currently in beta:

BUG FIXES

1) The prim color will no longer revert to white when you clear or purge. This means that you can color a prim and then use Prim.Docker without losing the original color.
2) The HUD no longer gets confused about which tab it is on.

I this confirms that if you Purge scripts before tinting, you'll be ok.

Thank you very much. Was bugging the heck out of me. So wait til done, purge then tint. Hope they fix that soon and the wandering prims. I think lag has a huge amount to do with it.
